Family Rosary
Today, I’d like to focus a little on the Rosary. It’s such a wonderful prayer.
If there is anyone reading this and wondering about the Rosary, I’ll share what I can. As we say the prayers of the Rosary we are thinking about and meditating on the Life of Jesus. The Birth of Jesus, Baptism of Jesus, the Agony in the Garden, The Crucifixion, and the Resurrection to list a few. We pray the Apostles Creed, the Our Father, the Hail Mary. Think about the words of the Hail Mary …. ‘Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners and now and at the hour of our death. Amen.’ These are not words of worship. They are a request for her help. We ask others to pray for us all the time. Why not ask the woman God chose to be the mother of his son, Jesus? Through her help, we may more completely understand Jesus’ life and teachings.
There are many great sites which explain it much better than I. Today, I came across one. There you can find not only a great explanation of it all but also the history and each of the mysteries you can think about while praying. Take a look. I learned some things too.

Lori,
Thanks for link to the rosary. I can’t remember the last time I had said it. I even have forgotten the order it went.
Come on over and join me in prayer (at my blog). Love your blog!
Many blessings.
